Days ago I wrote about using a tango-based desktop. I really like a blue-like desktop, there is a post in ubuntu forums that explains how to change the default usplash image and some other things in desktop to show it as blue-like one. I’m one of those people who don’t like default theme and enjoy using blue-based themes, the better of using free software is this that if you don’t like it you can always change it.
Don’t forget GRUB theme.
BTW. Don’t they look nice?.

Nowadays I been hacking MonoCanvas and recently I’ve been adding some things that reflect a correct canvas-behaviour such as to stop moving when reaching top-most and left-most position, I mean, negative canvas’ positions are not allowed, to stop moving the shape isn’t a real problem but when the shape has inner shapes, that’s the real problem!
I’m scratching my head for allowing this correct behavior…
But when finished will be nicer!

I spend all the day programming, you know, because of my job, but when I come home can’t stay away of keyboard, really love developing, it’s kind of an addiction or something.
Nowadays have been quite exciting, many bugs have been fixed, many code improved. I really enjoy it.
By the way, MonoCanvas’ first release is closer don’t stop reporting bugs!

I don’t know why but I feel very happy, too much coffee maybe, however, this night, like every night, I begin reading planetalinux and I notice a very beautifull t-shirt (I hope Jacob don’t get mad at me because I took his photo)

Notice Jacob‘s t-shirt! Powered by MonoUML
. Pretty amazing!

Looking for a better visual experience? Then do tango!
There is the Firefox theme, and in GNOME Look there are metacity theme, icon theme, splash screen and GDM theme, and you also want to change your cursor theme, then Pinux cursors may like you.
Better visual effect.

Finally lines are working right. Next step is allow DnD from lines to shapes, in the meanwhile I’ve enabled the antialising support (two simple lines of code), updated configure.in also reflects the changes. Do you notice the difference?

Due some patent issues, playing mp3 requires installing some extra packages. Ubuntu ‘Dapper’ needs them, you need to install the gstreamer-0.10 plugins.
# apt-get install gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly gstreamer0.10-plugins-good gstreamer0.10-plugins-base gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse
Does the trick.

BTW. GNOME 2.13.91, runs better, faster and smoother. Quite impressive.

Not too lucky anymore. Many are gone, now I feel kind of idiot because let them leave. Too many chances, too many. Now. I’m fucked!
Breath…. and… smile.
